At the Anselm Society 2017 Christmas party on December 15, festivities were interrupted by the arrival of three ghosts.
Jonathon Thigpen, as Charles Dickens, delivered the Ghost of Christmas Past monologue, written by Evangeline Denmark.
Anselm board member Heidi White, as a journalist, delivered the Ghost of Christmas Present monologue, reminding guests of the relationship between truth and imagination.
Anselm director Brian Brown, as a father 143 years in the future (the same amount of time as between Dickens' address and the present day), spoke as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, giving a glimpse of a world in which a renaissance of the Christian imagination has occurred.
