Why did God make us? What do our personal journeys represent in the grand scale of things? Is it really true that things like feasting and creating are acts of war against the Enemy that besets us? And what exactly is our place in this world God has made? In this chapter, we will explore the hinge question of our series, the question that allows us to begin to explore why and how we should create in God’s world: what does it mean to be human?
Each month during our 2022 “Why We Create” series, we will explore one theme within the overall topic; with teaching in the form of essays, with stories that expand our imaginations to encounter this part of God’s truth, and with a dialogue of subsequent conversations and art.
